Abstract

The research problem is the lack of student activity, learning outcomes and students' critical thinking skills have not developed, and learning is less interesting and enjoyable. One of the efforts to increase student activity and learning outcomes is through the PINTAR Model. The purpose of this study was to determine the increase in teacher activity, student activity, and student learning outcomes. This research uses Classroom Action Research (CAR), which is carried out in 2 cycles, of which 1 cycle consists of 2 meetings. The research subjects were fifth grade students at SDN 1 Paya, Hulu Sungai Tengah Regency, for the academic year 2021/2022, with a total of 8 students. The types of data in this study are qualitative and quantitative data, through observation of teacher and student activities and quantitative data obtained through measurement techniques with individual written tests. The results of this study indicate that the teacher's activity has increased at the first meeting with the "good" criteria, and increased at the 4th meeting the "very good" criteria. Student activity at meetings 1 to 4 has increased from meeting 1 and meeting 4 with the criteria of "very active". Learning outcomes at meetings 1 to 4 have increased from meeting 1 to 25 and meeting 4 to 87.5% classically.
