Abstract

The research problem is the low cooperative skills and students' critical thinking caused by one-way learning and monotonous learning. Efforts to overcome this use the PROGRES model and TTS media. The aim of the research is to analyze activities, cooperative skills and critical thinking, as well as student learning outcomes. This study uses PTK. The research subjects were fourth grade students at SDN Terantang 2. This study used a qualitative and quantitative approach. The results of the study showed that teacher activities at meetings 1 to 4 obtained the very good criteria. The cooperation skills at meetings 1 to 4 increased from the criteria of skilled enough to very skilled. Critical thinking skills at meetings 1 to 4 increased from the criteria of less skilled to very skilled. Based on the findings it was concluded that the PROGRES model and TTS media increased cooperative and critical thinking skills. It is recommended to use this model as an alternative in improving the quality of learning.
